The following notes apply:
All RECON engines will have, at least, new
pistons, rings, mains, bigends, thrusts, oil pump, camshaft, followers, gaskets
and seals and core plugs. Other parts may include, valves, springs, timing items
and all other components deemed not reusable. Blocks and cranks will be machined as required.

Rebuildable units have defects such as excess smoke and/or mechanical
noise, but are basically suitable for reconditioning. They are guaranteed to
be free from cracks etc.

Running units are second-hand, but in good running order. They are
considered good for immediate fitment and come with a 3 month guarantee that
they will not develop faults.

Reconditioned engines are rebuilt to a very high standard and come with 12
months guarantee. They are available as a standard (std) unit that will
require use of a lead substitute petrol, or an unleaded (unld) unit which has
modified cylinder head/s to take normal unleaded fuel.

Reconditioned units are sold on either an exchange basis with your old
engine, or we will rebuild your engine if you prefer. If you do not have an
old unit then you will need to purchase one of our rebuildable units to begin
with.
